Field Trips

The Railroad Museum of Minot welcomes school groups, homeschool programs, scouts, and youth organizations throughout the year. Students can explore historic railroad artifacts, cabooses, photographs, model trains, and exhibits that tell the story of how railroads helped build Minot and North Dakota.

To accommodate more groups, field trips are self-guided. Museum volunteers and exhibit information throughout the museum help bring railroad history to life for visitors of all ages.

Group rates are available for school groups, homeschool programs, scouts, and youth organizations. Please contact the Railroad Museum of Minot for current pricing, scheduling, and availability.

• We recommend one adult chaperone for every 10 students. 
• Chaperones are responsible for the safety and conduct of their group. 
• A brief orientation will be provided before your visit.
